La La Land

So my friend (who currently lives in LA, but is originally from Chi Town) posted this as his status on FB and it totally made me think...do we agree or disagree with this statement?

"Any real city you walk. You know, you brush pass people, people bump into you. In LA nobody touches you. We're always behind this metal and glass. I think we miss that touch so much we crash into each other so we could feel something."

I think I may have to slightly agree that LA lacks the big city feel where you can walk everywhere! Although I do hold LA close to heart because I have so many great memories living there. But this is a quote that makes you go hmmmmmmmmm.....

Btw, is this possibly a quote from the movie "Crash"? I should know this because it is one of my fav movies, but this quote totally made me think of it.
